Biomass

Biomass PicBiomass is the oldest source of energy in the world; it has always been used as a fuel for fire. Even now, biomass accounts for about 10% of the world’s energy, mostly as a source of heat in developing countries.1

So long as biomass is sustainably sourced, it can significantly contribute to the fight against climate change.
